While cooking perogies prepare:
2/3 cup margarine
1 large chopped onion
2/3 cup of whipping cream
Saute the onions in margarine, and then pour in whipping cream.
Drain your perogies and add to hot sauce. Keep warm for 15 to 20 minutes.
Place frozen cabbage rolls in a single layer in a covered casserole.
Add liquid half way up the cabbage rolls, (I like to use chicken broth, you can also use tomato juice and water).
Place in the oven and cook at 325 F for 2 ½ hours.
Watch they do not burn as you...
Place uncooked frozen cabbage rolls in a covered roaster
For two dozen: add 6 cups of tomato juice and 5 cups of water (as the rice is uncooked)
To sour the cabbage: add ½ cup of vinegar and 2 tbsp. of salt. Cover and put in the oven and cook at 350F for 4 hours.
